Make sure the round cadence magnet is not stuck magnetically to the face of the round wheel (speed) magnet. They are both the same shape, and when stuck magnetically together may look like one single magnet.

Why doesn't my CatEye computer work in cold weather?
In regards to operating temperature range, Cat Eye computers are only designed for use from 32 F (0 C) to 104 F (40 C). This range is largely a limitation of the liquid materials in both the watch-style CR2032 batteries and in the LCD display freezing at temperatures below 32 F.

You may experience dark spots on your cycle computer screen if you ride with polarized sunglasses. A polarized filter will sometimes react with the lamination on LCD instruments creating blind spots and trouble reading digits. We would suggest a non-polarized lens for best results.
