All of our CatEye computers can measure in either kmh or mph. This is typically the first step in the computer setup process after performing an "all clear" function.

On most of our computers you will either need to press the gray all-clear "AC" button on the back of the computer with a paper-clip (or something small). On computers without the AC button you will need to press and hold all buttons simultaneously for a few seconds then release.

This "AC" procedure should show you a screen with many 888's while you are pressing the AC button or pressing all buttons simultaneously. Then k or kmh will show up on the screen.

Pressing the mode button will toggle you back and forth between k (or kmh) to m (or mph).

Proceed with computer setup by pressing the set button and following the balance of the setup procedure.

Only a few of our computers offer the ability to change the speed scale setting AFTER initial setup.

The computers that do offer the ability to change the speed scale after setup include: CC-CD300DW (page 23 &29), CC-HR200DW (page 25 & 30), and MC100W.
