When I'm trying to change the odometer (Odo) or change the speed scale (km/h to mph) of my V2c/V2, I get a "Data Reset" message. How can I set my odometer or change the speed scale?

If you get a "Data Reset" message while trying to program milage into the V2c/V3 odometer or while trying to change the speed scale, that means there is some data from a previous ride that needs to be zeroed out before the odometer or the speed scale can be set/changed. From "Data Reset" message screen, press Menu button twice to return to main operating screen. Zero out data from previous ride by pressing SSE and M1/+ or M2/- together and quickly releasing both, Tm, Dst, Av and Mx functions should all now be zero. Return to odometer or speed scale setting screens within the Menu, "Data Reset" will no longer be displayed and odometer and speed scale can be adjusted.
