If computer head unit will not synch to sensor, or if sensor signal does not have full 100 cm range after successful synch, the computer is likely picking up on a field of interference. Sources of such fields include, but are not limited to, railroad crossings, power lines, security systems, radio towers, home computers, wireless internet networks, televisions, radios, cell phones, garage door openers, invisible dog fences, high intensity discharge and fluorescent lighting systems.
It may be necessary to take the unit outside of the home or shop environment to successfully complete the synch process with full 100 cm transmission range.
If you are experiencing a problem with either of the above procedures, please call our Boulder, CO service center at 1-800-5-CATEYE (1-800-522-8393) M-F, 8-6 MT.
